The food was good in spite of the fact that one of the dishes was very “hot”, it had been ordered mild, because that was an option. The rest was good. The updated interior of the restaurant made it very nice and comfortable. Everybody was very welcoming. We were told that they offer a good Sunday Brunch. We’ll probably try it .

Baby Shower – 30 January, 2011

I have recently used the Regency for my baby shower. I dealt with Angelo and Anna. They were both great, accommodated all of my needs and requests. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It’s not often I give a 5 star rating for a family restaurant, but after trying the homemade pizza, I felt like it was deserved.
For about $6, I had a delicious, homemade personal pizza made with fresh, and I do mean FRESH dough, tomatoes, basil and cheese. Not greasy, not too much of any one ingredient, and for the price I usually pay to get a pizza from my local pizza shop, I’d much rather make the trip to Central Park to get something homemade at about half the cost!
Will definitely return to try some other menu items, with hopefully similar comments.  Sean C.
After attending a wedding reception at The Regency, and seeing the smiles on all of the guests’ faces – it became very clear that the staff here wanted nothing less than to make it a night to remember for the lovely newlyweds.  The menu was simple, yet satisfactory.  The venue is warm and welcoming, with elegant touches around the hall.  The waitstaff was gracious.  The banquet hall was spacious.  I would definitely recommend Central Park for future events that cause for a celebratory mood.

I always love the Central Park.  It has been our “go to” place for years of community theatre in Linden, this summer being no exception.  I haven’t experienced the club, so my review is just about the dining area.  They have great drink specials (half-price bottles of wine on Mondays and $12 sangria pitchers all summer!) and the food is always good (check out the pasta bowls and the buffalo wings).
Most important is the great service.  The owners, hosts bartenders and servers are all very personable and remember their clientele.  I worked in a restaurant for three years, and I can say the service here is top notch.  You won’t be disappointed.  Howard W / Linden NJ

“A group of OLD friends decided to meet at Cavalier’s in Roselle, NJ on 6-12-2010. About 11 of us showed up and by the time we left almost 5 hours later, we all felt like the restaurant belonged in the family!!
From the minute we were greeted by our server whose huge smile and welcoming attitude introduced herself, we were sold.
Angelo one of the partners couldn’t be more accomodating! He gave us suggestions (you have to have the Pasta Bella!!! And have them add shrimp….. To die for!!). Not only did no one go home hungry, their full bar kept us all in every martini, mojito and beer you could have!!
We got a tour of the banquet facility (I am going to get remarried one day!! Ha!) And the meeting room in the lounge downstairs which is brand new, was perfect for any get together.
Oh, I almost forgot dessert!! Well almost forgot to mention it, no one forgot to eat it!!
You can’t go wrong eating at Cavalier’s. I promise you will return and WE WILL, only it won’t take us 30 years this time!”

I just wanted to thank you personally for the tremendous effort of your staff and the wonderful atmosphere of your facility for the Live Life Again Association fundraiser that was held February 13th. Everyone had a superb time and were greatly pleased with the elegance of your facility. It was a great start for our first time out and really put us on the map. Your hall was the perfect venue and none of us could be happier at the result. Again, Angelo and the staff provided were courteous, professional and outstanding in their efforts to make it a night to remember. Had to tell you that my wife and I had lunch yesterday at your place as we have had on other occassions and as always the food has been very good, However excuse me for saying that yesterday I had a meatloaf food orgasm. It was beyond a shadow of doubt the”best” tasting meatloaf I have had anywhere. Kudos!! I also wandered into the back and saw the catering room, which is really beautiful!

Hi everyone,
Ok, so Central Park “OFFICE ” of MVP as well as many of us early Linden theater people before there even was an MVP, has been added on to and completely redone. You have NO IDEA how gorgeous the Social Lounge is and the banquet room (TO DIE FOR). I can’t wait to see what they did to the diner area.
You need to check out the website and see for yourself. Barbie & I had drinks at the Social Lounge (underneath the diner) and it is so cool and gorgeous. SOOOO, we need to create a buzz about Central Park. Send the website to everyone on your list so that they can check it out.
We need to meet for drinks… Let me know when, I will be there!!!!!

On behalf of Live Life Again Association, I just want to thank you, Angelo and your staff for a wonderful, memorable eveningthis past June 14 for the LiveLIfe Again Association Empowerment Fashion Show. Many of the patrons who were visiting for the Cavalier for the first time were truly impressed with the venue. All of us at Live Life Again already know what a great place you have and are really getting the word out about what a fine establishment. We are all anxiously looking forward to our next event at the Central Park, The All White Affair Party on July 25th. I would also like to schedule a meeting with Angelo and myself several weeks prior to the event to go over several items that our entertainment would like to have in place for the evening and to go over the layout for the evening so it goes just as smooth as possible.
